It was during 1970s that an American engineer named Carl Sontheimer watched a machine that could prepare food. He saw it in restaurant where the demonstration was being taken place. During the mid 1970s, he returned to America and started developing the food processor. He continued doing with by taking suggestion from food experts. Finally, he made it and launched the first Cuisinart food processor in 1973.
